Major Investment Initiative Announced for the Oq Tosh Mountain Asthmatic Healthcare Resort Project

A landmark investment initiative for the Oq Tosh Mountain Asthmatic Healthcare Resort Project was officially presented on December 31, 2025, marking a significant milestone in the advancement of specialized healthcare infrastructure in Central Asia.

 

The project unites leading international and regional partners, including Global Exim Group, represented by Mr. Abduvakhob Rozikov and Mr. Ahmed Almheiri, and Akmar Venture, represented by Mr. Jianlong Chen. During the presentation, the partner companies unveiled their flagship vision for the development of an advanced asthma-focused healthcare and rehabilitation center, strategically located in the Oq Tosh mountain region.

 

With a projected investment volume of approximately USD 3 billion, the Oq Tosh project is designed to become the first and only specialized mountain-based asthma treatment and rehabilitation destination in Central Asia. By leveraging the region’s unique climatic and ecological conditions, the resort is expected to provide long-term treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery services for patients suffering from asthma and other respiratory diseases from across the region and internationally.

 

The initiative is being developed under the leadership of the Bostonliq District Administration, in close cooperation with Global Exim Group and Akmar Venture Development Groups. The official presentation was attended by senior representatives, government officials, and industry specialists from the Republic of Uzbekistan, demonstrating strong institutional support and strategic alignment at both national and regional levels.

 

The Oq Tosh Mountain Asthmatic Healthcare Resort Project is expected to set a new benchmark for medical tourism, preventive healthcare, and sustainable mountain development in Central Asia, positioning Uzbekistan as a regional leader in specialized healthcare investment, innovation, and high-impact medical infrastructure.
